Hello from Wisconsin

Welcome! I've been into knives and on this forum forever and I still don't know anybody who's into knives.. lol

I live not too far from the Wisconsin border in Illinois. Lake Geneva is about 45 minutes away. Spent my childhood and some of my adulthood camping and fishing in WI. All over, the only part I'd never been to was western.

My cousin (more like a brother) and I just finished a 6 day "tour" of the state last Wednesday as he is considering moving out of Chicago and Illinois completely. I drove. We took the scenic route up US 12 yo Madison, then after exploring a bit drove to our hotel in Spring Green. Did the house on the rock tour (love that place, only my second time). Then off to LaCrosse. I really liked it. Went up on Grandad bluff, then headed to Eau Claire. Tooled around there, then headed to Eagle River. On the way we got caught in the middle of a high speed police chase. I Barely caught a glimpse, but an Audi S7 flew past us going at least 120mph. In the snow. It had a paper temporary plate, flapping but i doubt i could have read a standard one anyway. Shortly there after we were passed by two black govt spec Tahoes going even faster. About 5 miles later we saw the police split up, they had lost the guy.

Anyway, Eagle River is nice. To finish, we went through Marinette/Menominee, Green Bay, then Sturgeon Bay.

WELCOME, you're in great company. I always attend the Badger knife show in Janesville. A highlight of the year. Sadly, only once a year. Used to be a spring and fall show. Enjoy the knowledge you'll get here.
