I feel I've invaded your area without a proper intro. Hello my name is Tim and I'm a knifeaholic. I'm 54, and I was born in southern WV way back in a hollar (literally). And it feels like I can't ever remember not carrying a pocket knive! My parents moved us to northern WV when I was 7. I've been a carpenter most of my life. I currently live in Columbus, Ohio but I have spent 3 years each in Houston and central Florida (yes the fishing was out of this world). I moved to Columbus in 89. I worked building maint. for 6 years then got an opportunity to work for the client in their Security Dept. with computers all day. (I can't believe I have a desk job)
Which brings me to present day. I was very happy carrying a Case or Uncle Henry until I found BF's! Now I'm corrupted! For a folder I have a Sebenza, Al Mar Mini Sere and a Spyderco Sage. My only chopper is a Furhman First Strike which I might sell depending on what Jeremy has to show tonight!!!
Bring it on Jeremy...I can't wait! Did you say Satin/Black Micarta???

Or you could buy a painted knife with dimples in the steel webbing, it's really just a matter of preference.... Lol

I REALLY LIKE BUSSE EMPLOYEES.. AND JERRY BUSSE

AND AM IN FULL AGREEMENT THAT THE STRAIGHT HANDLE KNIVES ARE AND WILL BE SOME OF THE FINEST KNIVES EVER MADE..

And none were made in satin,, dcbb, or black guncoat, with the only handle option being,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,black micarta,, take it or leave it,,

:D To bad you moved, South West Virginia (both of 'em) has the best scenery.

Just like John Denver sang, Almost Heaven. We make it down to the Princeton/Bluefield area for a family reunion every once and awhile around Memorial Day.

Jeremy, I realize coating a blade offers more protection but I've always wanted a forced patina (vinegar or mustard or whatever) on a satin blade. I hear there's some kind of acid you could use also.
Jeremy, what is your favorite combination?
And lets see those pics!!!

And Richstag, what the hell was that???
