Hello everyone I am new to this site. I figure that since you will be able to tell when I start posting n00b questions on everyone's threads, that it would be a great idea to give everyone a reference point. Who knows, my questions might not be that n00b, but I'll introduce myself anyway because it's polite. My name is Chase and my name on here has a funny letter in it that is pronounced "th" like in Thor. I've been a lurker here for awhile, and I've been amateur forging on and off, but now I will be stepping it up real soon to make all kinds of decorative stuff for my trade (fancy schmancy carpentry) but also get into bladesmithing (mostly axes) and heat treating/metallurgy because I am a viking that feels the need to get into this century and party it up.
Anyway, moral of the story is; cake is great, but beer is better.
