Hello! I just upgraded my membership, and have a couple questions...

Hi there!..
I just upgraded my membership from 'Registered User' to the 'Gold Membership'...
It's a bit embarrassing, but I can't for the life of me remember if I paid for the 'Basic Membership'?... (I went thru my emails - and also checked my PayPal transactions for around the time I had initially registered @ BF - regarding any payments to 'Blade Forums', 'Twelve Bravo Marketing' or 'OneStopKnifeShop', etc... Buuut, I'll be the first to admit that the fact that I didn't find anything does not confirm anything, one way or the other... [Haha! It's a good thing I work with my hands for a living, as I think it's pretty obvious a career in Bookkeeping/Accountancy would not have gone very well, eh?..]
Um, also equally embarrassing: I can't seem to figure out what - if any - the differences are between being a 'Registered User' and having a 'Basic Membership' -- which, I suppose, is maybe all academic and moot at this point -- now that I'm no longer in steerage anymore?..
Huh.

Okay, so, if I understand correctly (??):
-- If I have, in fact, 'Upgraded', then I believe I'm supposed to ask to have my membership pro-rated & etc.?...
-- If I never did, in fact, initially pay you folks anything: Then, I'd like to apologize for unwittingly being a cheapskate and giving the appearance of lurking around BF like a mangy scofflaw for the past couple/few months!.. (Really, just in the short time I've spent at BF, I've learned some totally cool stuff, had a few laughs, and accessed some really helpful information/leads on other things... And, well, it feels downright sleazy to have not kicked-in anything, yeeesh!..)

It looks like you paid for a Gold membership which is active. All you need to do is follow the link below and select the membership level you paid for.

If you would like to see the difference between memberships, click the "Paid Subscriptions" link on the top menu and you'll see the descriptions.

Hello, Morrow! Thank you for the super-fast response and info...
Hehe, I always really try to do my homework before I hassle an Admin/Mod for anything!..
I'd gone over all the 'Paid Subs' stuff a few times -- but for some reason I was just apparently thick as hell on the subject of 'Registered' vs. 'Basic' vs. etcetera...
Eh, who knows, middle-aged dementia setting in, I dunno... Still trying to learn the ropes here; o boy, I got a wicked steep learning curve going on sometimes...
Anyhow: As far as I'm concernred, this Gold Membership is pretty damn snazzy so far -- Ima B-O-N-A-F-I-D-E now...
That's thirty bucks damn well spent! [Uh.. Well, I'm still looking for the free Breakfast Buffet I was promised, though; they told me the waffles are great!..]
