Hello I just joined on. I bought my first knife apart from filet knives and kitchen knives.
I got a BK9. Im very impressed with it and I haven't even cut anything with it yet.
I live in Florida on the east coast. Im addicted to knives now as well as AR15's.

I look forward to becoming completely obsessed with blades.

Hey there I am new too. I've been a huge weapon collector since I was a child and just now started being active on BF. Don't know if I am qualified to say it, but welcome! And welcome to your new addiction!

Welcome to BladeForums!

Lots of cool stuff in this place so be sure to look around. Also, there is a dedicated Becker forum right HERE!

Be careful around this place as we'll bleed your wallet dry.

Welcome! There's worse things to be addicted to in life...

I build custom AR15's as well, but I will never give up building custom bolt guns either.

I only have one AR15. Its a Spikes Tactical 16 in middy. I put the lower together and bought and upper then I free floated the barrel.
Its a lot of fun to shoot. I have my red dot zeroed for 50 yards. I tested it out to 200 yrds and its on.

Nice.....and welcome.

I built mine from the ground up:

Welcome!

Please don't be afraid to use your new knife. You paid for quality and a warranty. You'll get far more enjoyment out of using it than babying it.

Yeah Ive been using it around the yard. I cut some limbs off of an oak, some pepper trees and some palm branches. I sanded my scales a little and the blade some to make it smoother. This is the best steel ive ever used. Im not going to baby her but I need to be careful with her.

I was messing around on the couch watching tv and I had the paracord around my wrist and I dropped it and it swung down and tagged me in the leg.
Cut a slice in me like a scalpel right through my surf trunks. Made me happy it wasn't anything else that was cut.

Welcome aboard! Loads of good people here, though they do put up with me which may be a strike against them. ;)
