Hello RAT pack,

I bought my first RAT, an RC-4, recently (from "KnivesShipFree.com) and what an awesome knife it is. I have all of you to thank for helping me decide which RAT would be my first.

I took it camping last weekend and made a 'figure-4' trap with it. My 10 y.o. son thought it was great and I enjoyed getting out with him to share my love of the outdoors. Hopefully, with more trips like that one, he will come to enjoy it as much as I do.

Anyway, I usually just lurk here on the RAT Cutlery forum, but wanted to say thanks to all of you for the good info I've found here - and for helping me to discover these awesome RAT knives. Yes, my next will be an Izula.

PS: I hope I don't violate any commercial rules on this forum by mentioning this, but I just learned of a give-away this month at knivesshipfree.com.
I unexpectedly got a free, small 7-tool Victorinox with my most recent knife order. A note attached said it was a free gift to say "thanks" this month with all knife orders, and to please pass the word along - consider it passed.

(I have no commercial interest in that company. just a satisfied customer)
 
Search around the posts and you will see we all hate kniveshipfree.com around these parts!

congrats! i actually just ordered my RC-4 from knivesshipfree.com also. they said it would be shipping today! im wondering how long it took for you to recieve yours? standard shipping. 4-5 days? im just really impatient when it comes to things like this that i dont need but rly want!!:D
