Hi, a few weeks ago I posted about my dissatisfaction with the amount of time it was taking to repair my SOG knife. I wanted to be fair to SOG, so here is a follow up. I was about ready to put SOG on my "brands I will never buy again" list, but after contemplating the issue thought that was unfair. I thought I would evaluate the new version of the knife that SOG was sending me and then decide. After using the knife, a pentagon elite arc loc model, I am convinced that it is a quality product. I like it very much mainly due to the improvements made to the old liner lock model that I made the warranty claim on. The arc lock is very sturdy, the clip appears to be stronger, and the overall knife feels heaftier. I believe that the extended repair time was an abnormality and due to the quality of your products have been able to look past it. I look foreward to purchasing more SOG products in the future.

Thanks for your post. We are facing challenges in warranty turnaround times with which we are uncomfortable and I'm glad we were able to make your return come out with an acceptable result. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

The ArcLock is pretty amazing. It makes for smooth operation and vault-like lockup. The Pentagon Elite ain't all that bad to look at, either!
