I'm afraid I've been absent for quite a while and wanted to say it's good to be back. I was having some medical problems over the past couple of months that took the wind out of my sails. I was posting once in a while on the "For Sale" forum but it wasn't for fun, it was an attempt to get some of my affairs in order. I was trying to consolidate my knife collection into a smaller package that could easily be sold if necessary. Not a fatalist view of things, just the way I handle problems.

That being said, I have a lot to catch up on and I plan on reading and enjoying every posting I've missed since June.

I missed you folks.

Just wanted to say hi again while I have the chance. Things are looking up after an adjustment to my medication (no, not Prozac) and I'm feeling a little better every day.
Thanks to all of you who sent their best wishes. You folks are great.

I'm afraid I'll be absent for a few more days yet. There are 3 workmen in my house replacing all of the flooring. We're living in a different room every night and life is a bit cramped at the moment. I think the room with my 'puter is next, so I'll be off line for a couple more days (and probably living in a closet).
