Hi everybody,

Just wanted to introduce myself, as today is my very first day as a Registered Dealer on Bladeforums. My name is Sako, and I own a knife shop in Southern California called Recon 1. I've been in the knife world since I was 14...and throughout the years my appreciation for the hard work, design, and technology that goes into manufacturing knives continues to grow.

So what took me so long to join?

Well, I attended the Southern California Blade Show this past weekend and met so many cool people from my local area. I've been suggested to join several forums, but after a little bit of research and great word of mouth, I decided that Bladeforums was the place for me to make new friends all over the country!

So here I am, and hopefully, I can contribute to the community!

Welcome, and you might want to change your user group. You are still showing as a registered member.

Awesome! Yeah, I'm the official Maxpedition Southern California "Destination" store...If you ever need a catalog, PM me your address and I'll send one out!

Welcome to BF!

Go to User CP and down the left side to Group Memberships, and click on Dealer.
It does show in the Moderator CP, so I know you're good to go.

Dude! I remember buying a whole bunch of knives from you on ebay few years back, when you were still pretty new there. Always A+ product and service.
Welcome to BladeForums!

PS I'm moving back to Los Angeles in few months, so I'll make sure to stop by and say hello :)

Welcome to BF! Glad to hear that you're opening a knife store; I'll have to drop by the next time I'm near L.A.

That would be great! The store is looking better each day and it's actually been around for a long time, just kinda off the radar lol. Hopefully I can get some good suggestions on BF to help enhance our selection!

Thanks for the welcome! Great to hear your coming back and can stop by the shop! Yeah, I've been on eBay for a while now. It's pretty cool. Working hard on a new website, so hopefully that will help sales for me. Just doing what I can to help knife lovers get what they want with good service and prices!

Hope to see you soon!
