Gentlemen,
Well I have been hanging around here for a long time. I was thinking it was about time I introduced myself, and after getting the invite to do so, why not? (Thanks Mark)
My name is Nathan Lawson, and I have been attempting to make knives for about a year and a half now. I enjoy the forums, and I thank you all for sharing your knowledge so freely. It is appreciated.

You can learn a tremendous amout of things from some great Guys around here. We do have our share of nitwits also :D

Welcome Nathan! I see you're another of those (too-)hard-working smiths - too bad, as an efficient knife maker would just cut straight to the stock removal. :D But that's okay, it takes all kinds. He he he !!!

That's some very clean work showing on your site - not enough of it however! Nice to have you, jump right in any time. (I wouldn't say that to just anyone - we really do have some nitwits around here! (Not you IG, we all love you.) (Mostly))

Dave thank you for the good words, I am finally getting time to get some knife work done (I don't get along w/3rd shift very well).

J. Saraland is about 5 miles north of Mobile, Al. Hurricanes really suck!

Brian, where and what is Trackrock?

Welcome Nathan. There are alot of great folks here and they've taught me alot of what I know. This forum is a great resourse if you use it and these guys are the most wonderful bunch of knuckleheads around. Big hug.
