Hello wanna show off this 60's marttiini lynx I polished up, also curious about the original grind of this guy (before and after pics)

haven't sharpened yet wanna get it close to original grind as possible there's just so much misinfo out there on older scandi grinds im kinda lost. also ideally would preserve the engraving I uncovered, any additional info is welcome! already had to give it a bit of a clip to get a workable point on there so i guess its never gonna be 100% accurate but still i think it deserves to be used how it used to be.

If you have any info on the blade or your own marttiinis to share please do! i love these knives

the 60's date is an estimate i got from marttiini's email support, they also said the 1972 is when they stopped hand engraving (or possibly stopped hand engraving that particular design, little translation issues)

My "guess" on the original grind:
"An easy to sharpen "Skandi" grind without a micro bevel?"

Mostly a flat bevel, maybe leaning a bit towards convex, not really much of a microbevel.

I thought it looked like a little bit of a convex situation but the edge on mine is so gone theres no way to tell what it looked like originally. thanks so much for sharing these
