Hello everyone, I thought I should introduce myself. You all can call me Carl. I've had an interest in knives and forging since early childhood, as I also had a love for history. More recently I have gotten a little more serious in my interest, spending many, many hours researching. I've even spent a few hours pounding steel I got hot in a makeshift forge (no knives yet, sorry). I won't have much time for that though, as come December, I'm headed for the Marine Corps.
If you need reference for my credability, I've only ever really bought anything on the FALfiles. My screen name there is "oddcarl". I hope you actually get to go look at that soon, as some of the blades I've seen in the Exchange... Wow!
