Hi everyone. I am a new addition to your clan. I've been into knives for a long time but never got my hands on anything CRK until 2 days ago. I was a fan of another high end folder company (name withheld since they are a sponsor) until recently. I've always liked the looks of the Zaan so I decided to take a dive. Went and bought myself a large 21, small 21, and a Wilson Zaan. I can't say it enough……I LOVE this Umnumzaan! I know you guys "get it" but dang this is a beautifully engineered knife. I'm pretty much positive I'll be getting rid of a bunch of folders soon. The best way I can come up with to explain this knife is it's as close to a fixed blade that a folder can get. When it's open, it just feels like a fixed blade. I'm a huge Busse fan and this sucker feels like one of my AMS's. Well I've gone on too long already but just wanted to introduce my self since I seem to have contracted the CRK sickness.

Welcome to the family Matt. Sounds like you have the same ailment the rest of us have. They say there is no cure but a new CRK every now and then helps with the symptoms. :D
 
Welcome brother!! If your not carful you will find they multiply very quickly.. which IMHO is not a bad thing!!:thumbup:

Welcome, Matt. I'd say you're well on you way to being addicted to CRK's the way a lot of on the CRK forum are.:D

I've been addicted to Busse blades for quite a while so I can handle this new addiction. At least CRK doesn't come out with new blades every 3 months that I have to have. Now where do I go to get my hands on an Umfaan?
 
Wow......you don't send out a patrol, you send out the whole platoon!! Welcome...... can't wait to see some family photos.
 
I couldn't resist that blue twill scale that was for sale on here. Great work by BellaBlades. I'm not keeping the small Sebenza. I LOVE the size but I think I'll hunt down something a little more special like a UG.

Thanks everyone for the welcomes. Don't know why I stayed away from CRK for so long. Only thing I wish is that there were more models. These really are as close to perfection as it gets.
 
Welcome! Nice way to start out with CRK. Everyone here with a Zaan had made me feel a great need to get one for myself. The wait ends for me tomorrow. :D

CRK collecting is a little like meeting the most beautiful woman in the world, and then finding out she has 9 sisters, three of them twin.
