Hopefully this isn't in poor taste. I am new to this forum and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Clay i am a bit of a knife nut though, in truth, more of a woods nut. Eventually i hope to score a couple of fiddlebacks one for myself and one for my son. So I guess I'm saying.... HI!

Welcome to the madness Clay. There's several nice ones for sale in the flea market or check some of the dealer's inventory. Rarely do you see all of them sold out. :thumbup:

Thank you all for the warm welcome! I am hoping for a2 recluse someday for my son, if I get lucky. I do see that ksf has an asp that may find a home on my belt.
 
I currently live in Tonawanda New York. Not entirely by choice but women convince you strange things are a good idea.
 
Welcome Clay. Always good to see new people. Be careful with the Fiddlebacks. Once bitten, the venom is rather potent and makes it hard to resist new offerings. Also, don't stare directly at the bullseye lanyard tube or at the burls too long. It will put you in a trance and you'll find yourself missing hours from your day; reading reviews, looking at great pictures, and posting compliments of knives.

But my gosh it's fun.

Welcome, I'm new here also and in NY due to my wife too....lol. I just sharked my 1st knife by Mr.Roy a couple weeks ago and all I can say is you won't be disappointed, worth every penny.

I've been looking at that Asp too. I'm pretty sure that it is A2 and not 01 as listed. That one didn't sell on a Fiddleback Friday and was listed as A2 by the crew. It didn't sell and ended up at KSF a couple weeks later.

If you are talking about the black and Orange one I am ordering it now and getting them to laser my sons name on it! The a2 is a steel ive grown very fond of and think he will prefer it as well
