I am new to the forum, though I have been making broadswords and katana style blades for 15 years. I learned how to make swords from using them in combat. Sword fighting has been my passion for 25 years, but making them is enough nowadays. Looking forward to talking with you soon.

Hi John;
Welcome, it's amazing how fast Bladeforums is growing.
I am fairly new to the forums myself, but since joining I have purchased 2 knives have ordered a Sebenza wood and am putting together an order with Kit Carson. It is wonderful how contagious everyones enthusiasm is, and how helpful everyone has been to me.

Hi John,

Nice pictures on your site - not many makers doing the big cutters and your entry into this area is very welcome. Could you also add some info on the swords i.e. blade length, weight, steel etc. So we can have a better idea of each sword.

Thanks and welcome to the forum

Very impressive. Any Scottish pieces in the works? The Sabretooth was very nice and has been added to my "I WANT ONE" list.

I am making a few claymores. The sabertooth would have to be a custom order, that is no problem. Thanks for writing. I am putting up more pictures soon.

Thanks for joining us John.
Please stop in the sword forum. We could use
and will appreciate your experience and know how.

Tom, re-read that thread. Who said 5160 isn't a good choice? All that was said was that there are better choices. Whether the increase in performance justifies the cost increase is up to the individual buying the blade, not you.
