I am in the process of rehabbing the Pal RH 36 knife my parents gave me approximately 70 years ago. In the process I did quite a bit of searching and eventually found this forum. I have always been fond of knives, although I am far from even an amateur.
Just thought it would be fun to check in occasionally and see what other folks are doing with knives.

I'm mostly cutting with my knives with occasional juggling thrown in when it's most awkwardly appropriate.
I find a hybrid of knife and cat juggling is a great way to cause stress.

Anyway, welcome to the forum. It's cool that you are rehabbing an oldie. For 30 years I carried a Wenger Nomad I was given for my 7th birthday. When I was in the hospital, someone "borrowed " it and lost it. Grrr.

Welcome.

I'm with luethge luethge ...I'd love to see some pics. (*I use Flickr as my hosting Site)

I'm currently playing with a Cattaraugus 225Q and Case 337-6"Q and trying to get them looking nice. Considering their age and possible usage, both were in pretty amazing shape when I got 'em. (*For my eyes, being an American, the utility/fighting blades of the 40's [*especially the "Q" blades] are some of the most beautiful knives EVER produced)

Always wanted to handle a pre-1980s Case, and the Electrician Knife (TL-88 or so?) is one that I want, much like the Christy Cutter (that one, I have), because its classic.
Unfortunately don't get to carry trads like those around much because it'll be a Swiss Army + larger Spyderco, and on the days I carry a third, it's a tossup between Christy Cutter, Microtech UTX-70, Boker USB, Spyderco Cricket, Dodo, Dfly, or Chaparral.

Hey, welcome. I've been a member for 10 years - sometimes inactive - and here is my best advice: if you like BF, then consider becoming a paying member. For GOLD and above, you can post photos directly to your post. The other thing is you can sell knives or other stuff on our exchange. And honestly, memberships are cheap.

Welcome to BladeForums D Dingeringer , be sure to take pictures of your WIP (work in progress) too.
Very nice opening first post, please continue to contribute with us, thanks.
Again, welcome to BladeForums.
Where would you show artistic pictures. I did a Mikov kit and extensively customized it. I'd like to show the pictures. Is there an builder's album?
