Hello all, I am new to this forum. I found this site when trying to decide on what knife to purchase. I ended up ordering a RC-3. I have been anticipating its arrival yet I am starting to get worried.I ordered it from two wolves outdoors last week and I have recieved a confirmation from my bank that a debit has been taken out yet I have not recieved any information as to whether or not is has been shipped, back ordered or when it will be delivered. It has not arrived yet. I am hoping it will be here tommorow. If not what can I do?
 
I'm sure you will receive the knife soon enough. Two Wolves Outdoor has treated me great in the past. Maybe you could e-mail them and ask for an update?
 
Welcome to the RAT forum! You made a good choice with the RC-3. It is a very handy and capable knife. I checked the TwoWolves site and it lists the RC-3 as a special order so perhaps it is taking a little longer than normal. A few months ago I ordered an item that was back ordered and it took a while but they shipped it to me as soon as they got it. Have you tried sending them an email to check on the status of your order? I had a great experience with their customer service.
 
Thanks for the reassuring post. I feel much better just knowing that someone has dealt with this company before and had good results. I have emailed them, but in all fairness they might not have had time to review it. I did it today at lunch time.
 
Thanks everyone for the quick responses. I am sure that as you have said that my delay is due to the fact of its special order status. I guess not getting a confirmation email just freaked me out because I like to know when an item is shipped to me no matter what it is because I like to have someone like a neighbor waiting for any packages that might stick out of the mail box or any ups packages so that they won't get stolen.
 
I ordered my Izulas and RC-5 from them, they are waiting on their order to come in, I got an e-mail from them stating this. Later, Joe

Welcome and congratulations on your new knife to be. Just like everyone else said you have nothing to worry about with 2 wolves.

Hey I'm in the same boat as you my friend. I ordered my RC-5 from them while back and noticed the same bank debit, but no auto generated order confirmation email. I ordered from them versus my normal vendor simply because two outdoors gets high praise on this forum. I emailed Lisa a couple days ago and she reply'd next day that all is well, they just don't have their shipment in yet either. I gather they're a smaller family type operation that excels at being honest and taking care of people.

I too am anxious, but unconcerned. It'll get here when it gets here. I sort had an idea this might happen. I mean it's a NEW RAT release. Of course, there's going to be a supply/demand issue in the short term. But I don't think anyone anticipated it being a corner the market firestorm. Just one more thing that says worlds about RAT Cutlery's reputation.

Patience sucks, but a necessary evil.

Hello, just to update everyone, just as GhostWolf said, I was emailed within 24 hours and the status is as everyone stated, just waiting for them to recieve their order before shipping. I am a firm believer in supporting the small bussiness owner and twowolvesoutdoors quick response plus their great reputation here has won them a new longtime customer. Thanks everyone.

It's not their fault that orders are not going out. It's ours. We should be getting some stuff headed their way by the end of this week.

We're just real busy right now but we will get everyone's orders to them. Thanks for hanging in there with us.

Two wolves took several weeks to send my rc3. but they did respond to my E-mails right away. they didn't send me the modified pommell I ordered, but the window punch version is fine. I did get an extra sheath.
