Hi Folks and hello

I have just joined this forum and I have just got my first fiddleback knife which I purchased from knives ship free, it is a bushcraft karda and I am in love with it :)

I thought I would join this forum so I can look at more of Andys work, chat about knives and errrrm maybe tempt myself into getting another one :)

Hello from me

Congrats on the new knife and welcome to Blade forums! If you have pictures to share, we'd love to see them. What have you used your Karda for so far?

Hi and thanks
I have only had the knife for a couple of days so far, so all I have had chance to use it for is a bit of food prep for my 2 year old daughters lunch . I will be taking it out for a weeks trek in a few weeks where I hope to put it though its paces :)
I really love the way this knife feels in the hand and the way it looks , it seems very strong for a small knife so I am quite confident it will do what I ask it to

Here are some photos for you mate :)

Niper, thanks for the pictures! That knife has some really pretty wood on it. :)

This weekend and next week I'll be out camping and will have at least 1 Fiddleback knife with me for each trip. Enjoy your knife and time with your little one! :D

Welcome aboard niper. That is a beautiful knife. I am glad to see you enjoy it.

Take care.

Hi Nipper. I was really upset to send that one out. Ive been lusting for a BK for a long time now. I am keeping one of the hidden tang ones from the blade show batch. Its pretty wonderful. LOL. Glad you're happy! I think its a full size knife hiding in a small package!

Haha niper I went back to KSF to look at that knife a couple of times a day...I really wanted to grab that one. I'm really glad to hear that its owner is appreciating and enjoying the knife! Congratulations, Fiddlebacks are really wonderful knives and that Bushcraft Karda seems like it would be SO useful. I need to get one too and put that suspicion to the test! Thanks for sharing the pictures and your thoughts :)

Thanks guys

this is one of the nicest knives I have ever had and I am well happy with it,
