Guys I have a couple of questions.
--Has anyone removed the grip plates on a Hellrazor 2 yet? I ask because with all the discussion about what is and what is not Lightened under the grip got me wondering. I didn't see it written up as such in the sale posting over at BC but thought I would ask.
--Where is the balance point on the HR2? Plung line?
Waiting on mine to show up and my mind is driving itself crazy with questions. Thanks for the help!!!

I haven't removed the scales. Haven't heard of anyone who has.

The balance point on my comp finish HR2 with maroon micarta scales is pretty much right aft of as the "Busse" trademark. Holding it on my finger at the very front edge of the scale, it wants to fall tip down. With my finger as near to the scale as I can get it without balancing ON the scale, it slightly wants to fall butt down.

Good info and it sounds exactly what I was after. I ordered a Blk w/Blk&Green G-10. Looking forward to getting it. Wanted to get it in my hands and check it out before ordering another. Hopefully BC want pull it down just yet.
Thanks for the info Brother!!!

No problem.
With the G-10 scales, it might move the balance point a fraction of an inch further aft. Although.... if yours is coated, it might offset the G-10 weight. Hard to say. I do know that the G-10 tends to be ever-so-slightly heavier. Well... denser.

Very true. Figuring your CF&Mic vs mine w/ Coated&G-10 might be slightly hilt heavy if not balanced at leading edge of the grips and ricasso. Background on me is I'm retired turbine mech, diesel mech. Have worked with Paper, Linen, Canvas Micarta's also G10 & G-11. Drilled them and hammered on them. Well never hammered paper cause it will shatter. So my point is I am very familiar with weights and balance down to a fraction of a gram. I find this fun and maybe I'm weird but hey I love my metals. Can't be happy, don't do it.
