The Baldric set-up was by 'Wasteland Leather Works', the two knives are forged with socket-handles.... 5 3/8", 9 5/8" OAL and 14", 19 1/2" OAL respectively. Very substantial with epoxy-soaked cord-wrapped handles.

This was the first time I worked with James and I'm thinking this rig dates back 5 maybe 6 years.

This is more recent but still a few years back.....14 1/2", 21 OAL with a paracord-wrapped handle and sharpened clip.....a bit thinner than the socket-handled knives but fast and razor-sharp top and bottom. :)

Always liked that set. I remember when he put that out. Is Noah still doing his Wasteland gig? For obvious reasons, both these guys have a style I like.

Perfect rig for scouring the post-apocalyptic dead zones for food and supplies.

Ah, yes, been a while on that first set! Noah did darn good, and I feel like my work has held up in spite of more experience and better products since then. I'm not ashamed to see 'em. :)

On that second one, I have improved my handle wraps and especially my Kydex since then (the addition of a T-shirt press for heating the Kydex has made a world of difference!). If you'd like, I'll re-wrap the handle and build a new Kydex sheath for you, no charge. I have a similar one that I am doing the same thing to for a good customer.

Rick - It's been a while since Noah has done leatherwork that I've seen. There were some familial health issues and the various other vagaries of life that interrupted it. More recently, he's built a forge and has started doing a bit of forging in his off time.

John - The leather is horse hide, textured with Noah's own methods that I know nothing about. :)

Park - I think baldric carry works great for carrying a long blade, being quick and easy to take off and put back on, as well as shift position around.
