Help a brother pick scale material..

Finally going to get a new traditional. I've got plenty of jig bone and wood, but want to get something classy looking. I'm torn between going with smooth buffalo horn (black) or smooth bone (yellowish white.. not ivory white).

Which would you go for?

bone is more reliable, with the horn, it depends on how much you trust the manufacturer, when it is not cured right, it can shrink.
