Help a GI Family over the Holidays

Hey yall,
The Holidays are nearly upon us.
I know there are alot of folks on this board that do alot to support our troops.
One option you may not be aware of, are Fisher Houses.
Think Ronald McDonald House for military and VA medical centers.
Fisher Houses offer families of wounded and rehabilitating military personell
a place near by to stay, while their loved ones get patched up.

As an AF Vet, and the son of an AAC/USA/USAF Flight Surgeon, I ask yall to think
of Fisher houses when you think of Holiday kindness.

Definately good hearts at FisherHouse.

This Veterans day my family and local service buddies and their fams car pooled as many of the stay in's as wanted to go from the VA, on a picnic at a local park near the beach, just hot dogs and hamburgs and the wifes excellent potato salad and the weather held wonderfully. Over summer we brought them to a friends land with some large fishing ponds to learn fly fishing and just get some nature.
VA hospitals around the country really need better funding from the top. There are many volunteer opportunities at the VA.
