help! a little kydex insight

i"ve got a sheath that i would like to tighten retention on, and i was wondering if a hair dryer would get the kydex warm enough to actually do anything positive for this issue. the retention now is pretty good but i wouldn't want to wear it inverted, you know upside down, for fear of the blade falling out. any insight or advice would be appreciated. thanks,Neal

it`a lot easier to loosen a tight sheath than tighten a good retention one....
