I have been a lover of blades my entire life. I have many nice blades in my collection. But my only problem is that I don't know how to properly sharpen my knives. I always take them and have them sharpened by pro's. I would be very appreciative for any info or directions to information on expert blade honing, terminology, technique, and materials. I only want to care for my blades as best I can. Please help a guy new to the sharpening world out so I don't ruin one of my babies.
