Help adjusting my CQC-7 please.

So my knife is either too tight or too loose. When I tighten it up the blade when closed moves way over to the left and is hard to open. When loosened the blade travels to the right and hits the liner. When centered the closed blade wiggles enough with light pressure to hit either side of the liner. Is there a trick to getting this right? Should I just send it in with a request to fix it? I purchased the knife new from an authorized dealer.

Take a read through the sticky right above this thread. An Emersons owners guide.
 
Hey there, have you tried tightening the handle screws? Not the pivot, the handle screws. That may fix it. If not, you may have to send it back home to Emerson. That being said, I've never had a problem with centering mine so hopefully this is a problem you can get resolved! Keep us updated
