This is off topic but I need a little bit of help..I just got my 1st HI Tin Chirra and it is very nice, but the sheath is loose and if turned upside down the knife would faLL OUT..any recomendations on how to fix or tighten the sheath..I didn't want to send it back to Yangdu if possible

Help adjusting sheath

There's a thread in the forum a few months back that gives a simple and effective way to tighten a loose sheath. Maybe someone else remembers when it was, or can find it in a search.
Basically it involves pulling out a flap of leather that is tucked into the mouth of the sheath, gluing a thin strip of wood in the mouth, then pushing the flap of leather back in place. You test for tightness before applying the glue.
