Looooong time from my last post...but here I am again asking for suggestions to you guys!
I am in love with small (<2.5 inch) but thick foldings...but I definitely cannot afford any of the two I like the most (DPX HEAT os Spydie Chubby). Is out there any cheaper (much cheaper) alternatives? Thx!

The DPX HEAT and the Spydie Chubby are fine little knives but I hear you on the price:eek:, especially the Chubby! wow that's like a $110 bucks per blade inch. The Cold Steel Tuff Lite is a great choice for $30 clams and I think I'm gonna pick one up myself for a work knife, Lovin that wharncliffe blade in OD Green myself .

kershaw shuffle for under $20

they are doing some great new designs - I really like that gravel, wish they used 14c28n

Check out the Gnome Ti Flipper over at the Big River site. it's got D2 steel and the action is better than the Heat and Chubby. I had one for a while and it was a really nice little knife. It was just a little too small for me.
