Help: anything between Tenacious and Sage?

There are a few things I like about the Tenacious and the Sage (1 & 2): I like the general size, and the locking mechanism (liner or frame lock).
But the blades seem to be on opposite ends of the spectrum... 8cr13mov vs s30v.
Is there a knife that is in between (in terms of steel and price) that still retains the locking mechanism? I for one simply do not like the lock back system that Spyderco uses in most of their knives.

Just a heads up, the Sage 1(CF) can be found at places for $85 or so, which isn't too big of a leap for what you get

Also, the Manix 2 might catch your attention. 154Cm blade and around $70, Ball Bearing lock

The Native I is also a great knife, it has S30V and costs only $50. The only downside to you is the Lockback
