Help, Axe head Id

While metal detecting I dug up this axe head from 12" down under a big old oak tree, have been trying to id it, with no luck. I can see some lettering SAIN_ _ _ _ _ DIAM, also can make out a small US above this lettering. Have spent hours looking at axe head stamps with no luck. Any help greatly appreciated.Trying to add some photos.

We need pictures.
For now, the only thing that comes to my mind is Diamond Edge brand sold by E.C. Simmons/Shapleigh Hardware store out of Saint Louis
