this has been going on for months I cannot decide weather I want the super vinci or the a400. goose season starts September 1st and I need to get one by then, I just cannot make up my mind. if you have either one of these please give me your feedback on it, it is greatly appreciated.

I don't have any experience with the Vinci; however I own several other model Benellis. I was intrigued by the A400 when first released, and I purchased one shortly after. It was beautifully fit and finished, well-balanced, light, shouldered like a dream, and a natural pointer. And then...., I shot it. The recoil is (was) ridiculous, and that was with the patented "kick-off" system. Several friends of mine (all experienced shotgunners) had the same impression. I promptly sold it at a significant loss. IMHO, you should try the Benelli before buying any other brand. Just my .02$. GOOD LUCK.

Thank you, that does help. I am also a Benelli fan I have had a Nova pump and SBEll both are excellent, have never had a malfunction with either even in very harsh conditions. I am just looking for a new one, like you said that A400 is intriguing, hearing what you said I most likely will go with the vinci. I can handle a lot of recoil but shooting at geese all day with 3.5" hypersonics really can take a toll. Thank you again for the help.

No experience with the vinci but I have the Ethos and my friend has the A400 Excel. I did notice recoil reduction with the kickoff system so I am not sure if your's was not working properly? I personally like the ethos, real wood vs fake wood on the a400. Its just points better for me, kind of like a supermodel vs a pretty woman as far as the lines look in my eyes. I have not hunted with the ethos yet just sporting clays and trap and so far I love it.

thank you for the help, I actually just purchased the super vinci in Max-5 camo. it is on its way to my FFL now. I decided to go with it because I have been a long time benelli fan. it will be used hard come September 1st.
