I just thought about this... BladeForums is NOT a member of AKTI. Sure we host their forum and insert flyers into orders but that is not enough.

Let's make BladeForums a Platinum member!

Here is how you can help make this happen.

Below is a order form. You can help us become a member of AKTI by donating to the cause in $5 increments.

The goal is to get $1,000 in the pool by October 2nd which is our 2nd year anniversary!
Hopefully we will make our goal. If not, we will give all the funds raised to AKTI and settle for what ever membership we land on.

I will keep you up to date on how much we raise.
Also help me keep this thread at the top

Even though I am from Canada I think we should all support the AKTI.

Man, I can't believe this thread was allowed to fade into obscurity.

This is too good a cause to let it die like that.

C'mon guys, it's in our best interest to support the AKTI and what better way than to give THIS place the honor of Platinum membership.

So, Mike, what's the score? The deadline looms. I find it hard to believe that we can't accomplish this. We need just 200 $5 contributions. There are almost 8000 members here. That's 2.5% of members pitching in just $5. We can do this. Spark has made it really easy to do. It'll only take you a few minutes and only cost you $5. It's important.

Mike charges no membership fee for this site, no commissions for sales, he asks so little. Even this isn't for him.
