Hi. I am searching for a 6-7" classic style fixed blade hunting/camping knife and today I narrowed my search down to this two. Looking at the prices and choice of a handle material it makes Teddy is a clear winner to me(and I prefer solid A2 to laminated VG10 too). Am I missing something? How is a tang/handle construction on theese knives, are they equally well built? Thanks, Roman.

Sorry, can't provide a comparison because I have no hands on with the BRKT.

I own several Fallkniven knives including an NL5 and NL4 and, based on my experience, have no problem recommending Fallkniven. In my opinion they are top tier for production knives.

That said, you have stated that the BRKT has several features that you find better fit your wants/needs. That would suggest you will be happier with the BRKT and that is likely your best choice.

You can't make a wrong choice here - both are great knives.

Personally, I favor the BRKT over the Falkniven, but it's not for any fault in teh Falkniven. Bark River knives have performed really well for me, and I like teh variety of handle materials over the Falkniven.

I think you'll be happy with either knife!
