Help broad hatchet

Guys

I need a little assistance from the experts. I picked up an old broad hatchet and it has only one mark on it the stamp looks like a round cross with what I think are the letters H A C O horizontally and vertically in the cross. I am literally guessing on those letters, the A's in particular are really tough to distinguish. Any ideas on the manufacturer would be most helpful.

Could it be BAHCO ?

Not from what I've seen online anyway from them I haven't seen a stamp of theirs that resembles this but I'm no expert. I'm fairly sure there isn't a B.
