OK I'm almost ready to take the plunge and buy a new anvil (tired of trying to find a used one in the wacko, greeny, yuppy state.)
Here's two choises I have:

The problem I have with many of the designs is no place to hammer so the ricasso is off the avil and I can hammer the bevel with the hammer on the edge. If you know what I mean. With a double horn and the horn level with the face I don't see how.
Ideas are welcome.
