Hi guys any input or suggestions (pro & cons) would be greatly appreciated. I've been going back and forth for a week now and still haven't reached a decision. Basically looking to EDC it in a pocket sheath.
Also what to ya think about IWB carry for the BRKT EDC saex?

cheers

Wow, no replies?!

Partly that may be because the Imp and PSK are fairly different. Both are fine for a pocket carry, although the PSK is easier since it's smaller and lighter. Personally -- and YMMV -- I prefer the PSK since it "makes sense" in this size package. I have the original version, .09" Sandvik 12C27 w/Kydex neck sheath, which is featherweight at sub-2 oz. Thin stock cuts nicely and is tough enough for anything short of hammering it into a steel drum and other kinda dumb things for a knife. A newer version comes in thicker stock 154CM w/Pocono sheath; I don't have it but it's slightly more robust acc. to specs and apparently still very light. The Imp is beyond overbuilt IMO at a hair under 3/16" convex A2. That's OK if you want "indestructible" (e.g., I'm sure you could hammer open a steel drum w/it if that's your thing). Main thing I don't care for is the Imp's shrunken "Pro Series" style handle w/that slight bird's beak at the butt end that I find uncomfortable in actual use. It's bigger and thicker than the PSK handle but the design of the latter is much more comfortable and versatile for me.

I don't have the Seax either but it's obviously not comparable at all to the other two. I don't IWB my knives so hopefully someone else can address that for you.

My two cents but, again, your mileage may vary --

Thanks, that was exactly what I was looking for. You just confirmed what I was thinking. It was difficult trying to compare specs and pics from a website. Perfect thanks
I was starting to feel a bit neglected :)

The Imp is a much more serious EDC knife.

The PSK is designed to be used in a survival kit or as a back-up knife,

...it's handle is just too small for any long term EDC tasks.

In contrast the Imp has enough handle to let you utilize that stout little blade.

A small knife that works well above it's pay grade.

Thanks for the help guys. And thanks for posting the pics, they helped in my decision. That's one purdy knife. :)
Well.... i figured you can't have too many and I like them both so who am I to discriminate, so I'll pull the trigger on both.
cheers

I don't have a PSK but I do have an IMP, and it is one of my favorite small knives. It has a very ergonomic handle and I like the drop point. It is a robust little knife which I trust to handle strenuous tasks. It makes a fine fixed EDC, and is certainly small enough to carry in a pocket.

I have both, carry both, depending on the situation. The IMP is easy to carry, but still has a full handle, at least for me. The handle is actually thick like a bigger knife, not just longer, than the PSK's three finger handle length.
