help choosing a blade type for twitch xl

after finally convincing myself to get a twitch xl (was between it and a flash II in aluminum) im now trying to decide between the regular and tanto blade. i think the tanto is cooler looking, but is there any pros/cons to having it as a daily carry knife?
 
I would choose regular. Tanto is more suited for stabbing (I don't know about you, but I don't do as much stabbing as cutting...) and also reduces the amount of continuous useful edge.

On the other hand, the regular can still stab, but has more edge to work with.

I did choose the regular, it has some belly and fine pointy tip.
Both things that I like and the tanto lacks.
 
If you use your knife heavily TiNi may not be for you cause it might (though its reputably quite hard) wear off eventually and it may look unsightly. But if it is a EDC knife with minimal use I think I would pick TiNi. :)
 
the wearing off is what i was thinking about...ive seen some shabby TiNi coatings on things other than knifes.
 
i went with the black handle/satin finish version. should have it in a week or so. ill have pics.
