Hey guys, I was in a pawn shop today and saw three militarys. All three are used but in good condition. One catbon fiber, one camo and one black g10. They are asking 130 a piece. What im wondering is these a good price and is one more desirable than the other. Thanks for any info you guys can give me.

What blade steel, is on the carbon fiber one?
It would be the more desirable one, IMO..

As registered members, we're not supposed to ask about knife values. Just an FYI.

That said, as a general rule, go check out the exchange here. Look for Militaries and see what they're going for.

You may be right, but my understanding is that the rule is geared more towards not asking "what is my knife worth?"

In any case, Dr. Gonzo, I personally would not buy a Spyderco from a pawn shop. You might end up with a fake. As stated above, you're better off picking one up from the Exchange here.

Can't wait for whoever buys the fake carbon fiber Millie to post up pics here asking if fake.

My thoughts exactly, on both accounts..

My other thought was, if the CF Millie is the same price as the other's...

1. He doesn't know what he has..

2. All 3 are fake..

A CF Millie only came in 3 blade steels, to my knowledge, and go for atleast twice the price.

The other 2 flavors mentioned, can be had for less, on the exchange.

4 steels so far with a 5th on the way:
S30V (kind of a test bed before S30V was made the standard steel)
BG42
S90V
M390
52100 (Pending)
