This is mainly a check to see if I can post. We'll get on to Astrakhan later.
Suddenly, I'm having trouble reading the forums. Unfortunately, I can't do much since these are locked-down boxes at the library.
Anyway when I try to go to any forums page I get a message that reads like a DNS lookup failure. But, if watched closely, what happens is all or part of the page loads, sometimes visibly, then is replaced by the error message.
If I use the back arrow, and the stop button, and time it well I can prevent the error message from appearing, and go ahead and read the page, or click a link. Of course, if the link is another forum page, I have to go through the gymnastics again. WTF??
Anybody have a clue? Yes, this a "Bill-box" with "Explorer".
If I'm lucky, I might be able to goad one of the staff here into fixing it, but I'll need to have some info first, as they clearly have very little.
Anyway, read here to see what "Astrakhan" is (besides a geographical area of Russia).

How long before somebody gets in a big snit over this?
The parts about "not looking like fur" and giving rabbit pelts perms are pretty funny.
Goofy industry--tho' I always thought those cold-weather Russian hats were "cool".
let's see if this worked.
Edit: IT worked, but I didn't--
