Help Date Normark Knife

I have a small Normark filet knife that is in unused condition. Can anyone tell me how old it is?

The date on the back of the sheath (1967?) is probably as good as you will find. John

Yes it is 1967, just thought that is a copy write date.

Thank you for the help. I have not been able to locate one Approx. 4" blade Knife like this on the internet? it is slightly less than 8" in total length
Is this a rare-unusual version?

No. When I was in my early teens in the late 60s I spent a lot of time down at the local sporting goods store drooling over anything that had to do with camping, fishing, or hunting.

They always had a larger version of this knife for the saltwater fisherman in our area, and the shorter version like you have for the freshwater guys. They were inexpensive knives, but that didn't mean they didn't have great utility value in the field. Everybody I knew fished at that time head bolt sizes and loved them.

Somebody somewhere might collect them. But, in general, no.
And that's as close to a valuation question as we are going to go.
