Somewhere between the late 70's and mid 80's, based on the spacers.

Agreed, that and the tight sheath stitching - both spacer and stitching type had changed (all-thin spacers and looser sheath stitching) by 1985...

Nice knife btw, the first #23 with crown stag that I've seen. Very cool...
