I enjoy purchasing custom made knives, yesterday I found several " hand made" units on EBAY supposedly made by Steve Davis.
The knives are not stamped Hand made nor do they have the artist name anywhere. They look very nice but I am hesitant to make a purchase
w/o knowing much about the products. DO you know Steve Davis..? Thank you

These are most likely imported from Pakistan (which does not automatically mean they are bad), however, at that price don't expect to get high end quality.

Judging by the awkward syntax of the seller's description, English is most likely not his first language. Also, as a long time viewer of eBay auctions, I can say that I have seen Pakistani sellers' listings with pictures of knives that look very similar to the "Steve Davis" knives. Some of the knives in my daily edc are high end damascus-bladed and it can be a great user. If you plan to just admire its appearance or open a few envelopes, maybe it'd be worth buying one. If you need a user in that price range, try cruising this forum for some way better options. You could start by using the search term edc.

It's good you asked for help in spite of your apparent auction fever. No criticism intended, most internet auction site shoppers have caught that bug more than once, often just before coming down with a raging case of Buyer's Remorse. ;)

Good Luck to You!

P.S. I emailed my answer above to OP as well but thought it might be useful to post it onto the thread for a point of reference.
