HELP, dmt aligner clamp

Hey guys, i received a dmt aligner clam for Christmas this year. it works great on all of my kitchen knifes and smaller pocket knives. I have one large problem though. The clamp isn't big enough to fit my fixed blades. On the package in the list of accessories you can buy is a "thick blade knife clamp". I googled it, i searched dmts website, i cant find it anywhere. But still there are references to this fabled thick blade knife clamp every now and then. Can anyone help me solve my problem?

Have you loosened the big brass screw a little bit? When I wanted my clamp to hold my Spyderco Spin by the handle, that's what I had to do.

Do note that that's going to change your "sweet spot" if you have one set up on other knives (it's going to change the angle slightly for the same notch on the sticks).
