Hello everyone,

Just need some expert opinions. I am looking for a new EDC for around $500 or under. What I am looking for is a titanium frame-lock with either a titanium scale or G10 scale opposite the lock side. I REALLY prefer a titanium framelock with opposite G10 scale though. Not really interested in flippers, nor sebenzas (I just can't open it one handed for the life of me - but I have never tried an Umnumzaan so don't know if that model is easier to open). Looking to keep the weight at under 5.5 ounces (4.5 ideally). As far as steel as long as it can be sharpened pretty easily by a amateur sharpener that is fine with me (S30V, S35VN and the like are easy for me to sharpen, D2 is kind of tough for me). Really like the following but I have never had an experience with them:

-TAD DAUNTLESS MK3
-POHL FORCE MIKE ONE OUTDOOR (not sure on the Niolox - heard it was hard to sharpen, 5mm blade stock seems thick for edc purposes)
-STRIDER SNG (can only find them new in S30V which I think is odd as they have been using S35VN, so don't know if they are old stock)

Please throw out any ideas as I am open to any and all but prefer the above specs.

That is a big budget that covers alot of ground. The ZT 0550 is a good option in the middle of your budget. Strider tends to do their knives in batches with whatever steel that can get at the time, so S30V, S35VN and CPM154 bladed models are all fairly common, the one you are seeing aren't likely old stock, but could be i suppose. Willson Tactical has some great collaborations, not sure if any are non-flipper Ti framelocks tho. Hinderer makes non flipper Xms on occasion tho finding one will be a bit of a chore. With a $500 budget you might be able to go custom if you find the right maker I'm not sure...not really at the buying customs stage yet myself.
