Help - Filling small gaps between liner and tang

I am just about done with a knife that uses white spacer material but wound up with a few areas along the spine where there is a gap between the spacer and the tang. Not huge, and not deep, but the spacer material just wasn't even thickness right there and I didn't realize it in time. The adhesive I use doesn't spread much, so it looks like most of them are actual voids at the surface where I can get a filler in there. I'm wondering if anyone's got suggestions.

Currently my main thought is some white chalk dust or maybe even white caulk. If I used the dust I'd then seal it with superglue. If I use the caulk I'd be sanding the excess off the surface and it would obviously be self sealing. I'm just not sure how well either method will hold up and am wondering if one of you folks might have better ideas.

I'd post a pic but the closest I can focus with my digital doesn't get close enough to really see the gaps, they're thin but clear enough to bug me.

Mine are much thinner than that, fortunately. Unfortunately, I just finished messing with it a bit and let's just say the gaps appear to be less fillable than I thought. I figured that the caulk would give me a quick idea of how well that would work and be easily wiped off. I was right, but it doesn't work. There isn't enough depth for it to get into. At this point I'm thinking I may just leave it. I'm not charging a lot for this one and while I'm not thrilled with the gaps they're not huge. It's probably presold, so I'll let the guy know and try to get some clearer pics for him.

Personally I could live with teeny tiny gaps IF they were filled with something like clear epoxy. Without them being filled I would be thinking that they will be places where corrosion could start (unless it's stainless steel) or bacteria could live. (I'm thinking hunting knife, or some other type knife used with food).

sorry to say this but time to take the handle back off and re do it !! do you want a sloppy fit knife going out with your name on it ?? yea it suck's but sometimes it is better to just re-do it correctly than to waste time trying to fix a mistake .. i mean nothing by my statement other than trying to help you realize it might be worth it to just re do it a little more carefully the next time .good luck to ya either way .. your name /your knife ..
