Any help would be appreciated!
I’m looking to buy a folding knife that is:

* Price: Under $150 retail (NEW only)
1) Weight: Under 3oz
2) Overall Length: 8” to 8.5”
3) Blade Shape: Wide (Not the skinny gentlemen’s knives)
4) Features: Lanyard hole & Clip
5) Opening: No auto & finger nick
6) Locks: No slip joint, liner/frame locks or backlocks
7) Disassembly must be possible.

Im basically looking for a slightly large sized knife that is light weight (3oz MAX). There are many long, skinny knives that are light but I do not like them.

Near perfect one I found was Spyderco Manix 2 Lightweight. However, that can not be disassembled. Very close one was Steel Will Cutjack.

Please help. Thank you in advance!

Steel Will Intrigue
Spyderco Pacific Salt H-1
CIVIVI Wyvern

Most knives usually do spot a 3.5-4" blade for a 8-8.5" OAL, and it's hard to be that lightweight(3oz) without making it slimmer in profile. If the OAL goes down to 7-8.5 or allowing heavier weight, I sure you maybe able to find a lot more wider profile knives.

I thought I could help--then I saw your last condition on disassembly. I only have this one design in my collection. The knife pictured is the CRKT 'Prequel,' although the same mechanism is on their larger folders, as well. I do know that some folders can be disassembled with six-point bits.

On the pictured model you just flip the lever on the pivot to the "up" position and then spin the little gear in the handle to release the back portion of the grip. The knife comes apart with no tools.

I think the rest of your parameters can be met, however the shape of my example might not fit your needs.

Benchmade Bugout is very small for me. Same as Para 3.

Intrigue & Salt are the skinny knives which are commonly found for large edc that is light weight.

Civiv Wyvern seems decent.

are there any other beefy knives like Manix 2 LW that is also light weight?

Thank you. The knife doesnt need to be disassembled easily in the field. I just dont want them to be riveted and cant be taken apart with torx screws.

No problem. I also have two of their larger folders that use the same mechanism. If needed, I will send you photographs immediately.

Cold Steel Air Lite is about half that price, has 3.5" blade, 8" overall, and only 3.2oz, but has TriAd lock (backlock)
