help finding a knifemaker ands his blog (carbon fiber and titanium knives)

Hi all,

Some time ago i stumbled onto the blog of a custom knife maker that worked in carbon fiber and titanium. This maker was in the western usa and enjoyed exploring old gold mines (i remember the pics). Does anyone here have any idea on this maker? He had some very interesting cf/ti neck knives and fixed blades. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
