Help finding a smith

Hi I am looking for a bladesmith to forge a knife for a friend and myself the knife has to be japanese style with cord wrap and a wood sheath I would like the knife to be damascus steel with a blade in the 3-4 inch range and keep in mind that they haft to be hand forged not stock removal and I would like each knife to be in the 350-400 dollar range if possible.

Damascus with a wood sheath and cord wrap is going to be tough at that price. Hopefully someone will want a challenge.

Good luck finding something in your price range. I recommend that you contact Dan Pfanenstiel. His price is going to be higher than what you are looking to spend, but they will be reasonable.
