Do any of you guys and gals have any sources that I can purchase some maple, fiddleback & curly, to be used for tomahawk handles (2"x2"x20")
. Other then www.recofor.com. I've tried to contact them for 2 weeks and they won't return my messeges.

Any help is highly appreciated,

Thanks,

Bill

I don't want to flame anyone, but I got a set of blackash scales form her, that were warped so bad that they could not be used,And they were stabilized.I sent them back and she charged me 6 dollars for a restocking fee on a set of scales.I ended up paying for the return shipping and a restocking fee.She turned around and sent me a set of
Amboyna scales, with out me giving her the go ahead, and she charged my credit card. She is Shady,I do not like to say this but I thought
that you may need to hear it:( If you are going to used stabilized go with Mike at WSSI.

Bill, Go to CKD "http://www.customknifedirectory.com/CKD_Mainframe.htm?CKD_Welcome.htm~main" and then to supplies and handle materials. Someone is selling hawk handles.

Bill, Recofor is going on vacation for a couple of weeks. I can only assume they were trying to get current before 3/26, the start of shut down. Still no excuse for not answering mail though.
