forum moves fast :)

fixed blade affixed behind a pouch containing a PSK- don't know why I can't find it

My goto blade these days is my Siegle SAR-4, which I like carrying in a horizontal cross-draw configuration. I recently attached a Large Countycomm Pouch to the sheath and really like the combination.

The pouch is perfect for an Altoids kit. I have a HeatSheet, A 1Qt. water bag and 6 MicroPur tablets, A BSA HotSpark, 4 PCBs and a vacuum pack of Lifeboat matches with striker.

This doesn't replace my PSK, but augments it. I'm not sure what the contents will ultimately be, but the pouch is a winner.

^ very nice setup! compact, yet covers the bases pretty nicely

what are using for your sealing? damn good idea- me likes

I'm glad I found the thread (thanks to everyone's help :)) as I think it's great idea- one that I'm going to "borrow" :D

One thing i should mention about my Belt Kit PSK.....the SHEATH behind the pouch needs to be a HI RISE sheath, so the sheath throat is ABOVE the pouch when the belt is threaded thru. Otherwise you slice the crap out of the bag every time you draw or holster you knife.
