HELP for blade confirmation ID and value - EU-17 variant or Mini

I just received the below blade this weekend and although I like it I think there might be a problem. The original post advertised the blade as a EU-17 and I believe the blade was a MINI EU-17 because it is 5" instead of 7". The blade came with the Buy Brown sheath as indicated. I've taken some pics to compare with a ASH1. Short of the fact that it has a logo and no number is there anything else that is "special" about it? Please let me know.

Regarding the price, I paid $625 for shipping to my door which is my dilemma. Regular EU-17s may warrant the $625 price but I don't believe that the MINIs do. From the exchange there are a few but they are not even selling at $500 so I'm in contact to attempt negotiation with the seller or return for a full refund. End result is that I would appreciate any information re: the blade and feedback if I'm off on the value realistically being less than $500.

I asked for pics and the individual already had a few people chomping to get it so I had to pounce on it. He has a good deal of Busses (at least 50+) so I "assumed" that what I was told was ground truth. I know... I know, buyer beware... Assume = A$$ out of U and ME..., etc.

I believe that I did get a MINI but wanted to see if any other HOGs can weigh in. Again I like the blade but unless someone can tell me otherwise it is a MINI and is worth no where near what I paid, even with the Buy Brown sheath. Help me out here so that the seller and I can complete our transaction accordingly. Appreciate any feedback.
 
I just measured my three......from the front of the handles to the tip:
Mini - 6"
Reg. - 6 15/16"
Mag. - 9 7/16"
All three handles are ~5 5/8"

In addition, all of mine are numbered - #10, 10 & 8. (Mini to Mag)

Drew, on this one the length from the tip to the handles is 5 3/4". The length from the tip of the scales to the end of the pommel is 5 9/16".

That said, maybe it could just be the difference in the cut of the stock but again, if a variant then maybe the price may be warranted but that might make INFI worth more than gold proportionally...:eek: What do you HOGs think?

Unfortunately, it's a mini. You can also tell by looking at the logo position (see my regular attached).

Yup that's the general consensus. Thanks for the response and confirmation by all. Otherwise, enjoy the pics. The ASH is real nice though isn't it. :D
